Ukrainian victory over Russia is inevitable

Long live the People's Republic of Belgorod! Is it time for Russia to panic? It's time for Russia to panic. Spring is coming.

To get back on topic- Russia is the bad guy here. Like the anti-Christ of civilization.

Good guy - Ukraine who was just living their lives and got invaded.

Interested parties - the west; who said that is not cool to invade your next door neighbor. Here are weapons.

China - who thinks it is cool and should invade Taiwan itself.

Africa- on the sidelines but Russia never did the who slave thing so they are better bet than the west so we will hook them up where we can.

Middle East - business as usual; play both sides just to make life suck for both sides

The US never opposed invasions in principle. It’s a lie for you to say that they did.

The US and almost the entire world has indeed been against, on principle, wars of territorial expansion. Territorial integrity is one of the key foundational principles of the UN and the post-WW2 international order.

So it's cool to invade as long as it's not for territorial expansion?

What is Israel doing?

What is Turkey doing in Cyprus?

Yours is text book “firehose of misinformation” and derail the topic on display.

If you read about the techniques employed to whittle away support, you are doing exactly that.

This is a thread about why it’s good to support Ukraine, the place that Russia attacked. If you want to start a separate thread to criticize something else you are free to do that. But being a bot, you probably aren’t at that level of sophistication yet to develop your own posts. Needless to say, the topic here is that Russia illegally invaded Ukraine and they need to leave. They need to stop raping. So your little distraction efforts are falling flat.

Distinctive Features of the Contemporary Model for Russian Propaganda

High-volume and multichannel

Rapid, continuous, and repetitive

Lacks commitment to objective reality

Lacks commitment to consistency.

Interestingly, several of these features run directly counter to the conventional wisdom on effective influence and communication from government or defense sources, which traditionally emphasize the importance of truth, credibility, and the avoidance of contradiction.3 Despite ignoring these traditional principles, Russia seems to have enjoyed some success under its contemporary propaganda model, either through more direct persuasion and influence or by engaging in obfuscation, confusion, and the disruption or diminution of truthful reporting and messaging.

This article is particularly enlightening based on observations of this thread. There seem to be a lot of “we are only posting here because we want peace!” posters. They only seem interested in trying to lower morale and convince anyone who will listen to abandon allies. Or maybe they actually are just unwitting Fox News viewers with poor criticism reasoning skills who can’t decipher who is targeting them with anti-Ukraine support online and are just parroting the same stuff they read.

This forum was originally for people living in the DC metro area. There are some posters who are generally afraid of nuclear war, because they live near an obvious target. I don’t think there is much of a chance of that, but it certainly isn’t zero.
Some of them are willing to overlook the kidnapping, rape, and torture of Ukrainian children, if it means the threat of getting nuked goes back down to zero.
Not bots, just people who are scared.

You are funny. There are thousands of kidnappings, rape, and torture happening at your southern borders and they were willing to overlook it for years.

I’m sorry they are scared. They are the modern day equivalent of French collaborators in WW2.

I’m sorry they think allowing Putin getting access to one of the worlds grain baskets (Ukraine) and better access to the Black Sea and natural gas pipelines through illegal annexation and, more importantly, the message that the US just sits by and does nothing while it happens is a good message and that’s pathetic.

I’m sorry these posters are so unable to grasp that rolling over, sitting it out, and isolationalsim aren’t ultimately in the worlds or our best interest. But then again as one noted they are simply suburban housewives from MD who probably are paranoid and watch Fox too much.

Or they are bots or paid shills. And those are not exaggerations because there is a massive propaganda campaign underway, much of which is dedicating to grinding down support for the cause.

Are you denying rapes committed by the people who illegally crossed the southern border or are you denying the fact that people in DC ignored these rapes?
There is no deflection in the post above and it is direct on point: if Washingtonians didn't care about children being raped in their own country, why would they be concerned about children bing raped in Ukraine?

Thread derail defeated. No points to bots (or paid shill), back on topic. Thanks and have a blessed day, little propagandist.
