| I’m keep seeing these on women. Would a 50 year old look silly in them? I am thinking of getting black ones. |
|
I don’t think you’d look silly. They are pretty classic.
If you wore them with an outfit that a 20 year old should wear, I’d probably give you a side eye. |
| They are so comfortable. I am 50 and wear them but I also wear Vans. |
| I do not see people wearing these, but wear what you want. |
| Sneakers look good at any age, depends on the styling of course. Recently I think I saw some lady around age 45-50 with sambas and she looked great. She was wearing wide leg pants and carried a slouchy leather bag. |

| 53 and I wear them. My teenagers haven’t teased me over it so I think I’m pulling it off. |
|
I love the look of these but does the plastic tongue on the shoes hurt the top of your foot where it rubs against it?
|
| Where I live it’s all college girls who wear them. Just returned from an academic conference in London and all the women 30-50 were wearing them with trousers and sweaters. |
|
I used to wear them a lot when I was younger! It was my go-to shoe, I bought a new pair every year.
After a long hiatus, I decided to give them another try and--the quality has gone seriously downhill. They feel like plastic, the sizing is all different. Used to be a good quality leather shoe. Not worth it IMO. |
| I'm 53 and wear them. I have some Onitsuka Tigers and Pumas that are similar as well. I think I like them because they remind me of the 80s? |
Have you been living under a rock? |
I love these but they are so hard to find! |
| Do not buy sambas at age 50. Their popularity is peaking for college kids and omg I still have the ptsd with them from being a soccer girl until college. Find something more high brow |
| They were all over Europe last month. |
