The OP in the "Engaged 8 Years. I am 50." thread in the Relationship forum sounds just like this poster from 2023 https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1149634.page#25558547. In the new thread, she claims to be engaged for 8 years, not work, and owns nothing with the wealthy man who is the father of her youngest child. She has two children from another man and he has two older children from another marriage. In the older thread, she is a part owner of the house they live in.

Other than they are both women living with people to whom they aren't married, what makes you think they are the same person?

This is just one thread I was able to find in a search. I remember her from other threads. This one is particularly pitiful because she claims to own absolutely nothing and has a child with the man. Her writing is unique.

Unless the poster moved since the first post, they are different posters. They are using what appear to be home Internet connections in completely different parts of the country.

That looks like the same poster, but it is consistent with the new thread (at least as far as I can tell). If anything, that thread makes it less likely that the poster is a troll.

As Jeff has mentioned a few times in the past, DCUM has many participants with excellent memories. If you start an extraordinary thread with memorable details and choose to repost another thread with the same, people here will remember and try to pull up the old thread. The OP can mention they posted on this subject before and give an update.
