No Labels/House to certify Election Coup

Anonymous
, No Labels officials floated the possibility of forming a “coalition government” with one of the major parties in the event that no candidate for president receives 270 electoral votes.

Put that way, it sounds relatively benign. It is, however, anything but. No Labels chief strategist Ryan Clancy explicitly mentioned, according to NBC News’s account, the possibility that the election could be tossed to the House of Representatives, where deals could be cut to determine a winner. This has happened before.

This just in, No Labels hoping to act as the spoilers for the benefit of the GOP; willing and able on multiple levels.

So the party with the smallest number of votes will sway enough republican and democratic legislators to gain the presidency. The aftermath of that will be fun to watch.

Two things can happen.

Dems handed MAGA Mike the gavel he will not certify the election. Strong possibllity of this.

Or
Given this is the House of Reps clowns no one reaches the threshold for the electorial college then states come into play well Republican have more votes in that senario ie Republican win.

The house of reps could be Dem by next January

Yes, I actually expect the House to flip to majority Democratic. But in the scenario where no presidential candidate gets 270 and the vote is thrown to the House, the delegation from each state gets one vote and the Republicans have more states.

We have a student of the constitution. This is how it would play out, unless some Republican states don’t go along with the program. Then the potential for chaos.

What do you mean Rs have more states?

So no labels exists to try help secure a GOP win because the GOP is incapable of actually winning. The GOP could try to win by having positions or policies or candidates that would attract voters. What a concept.

If each state in the House gets only one vote, there are more states where the majority of its Congressmembers are Republicans than those where there are Democrats.

Alabama has like 5-6 Republicans and 1 Democrat. So does Tennessee. And Louisiana. Think of all of the states that have only one Rep who’s an R - ND, SD, WY. Even big swing states like PA, MI, WI, NC have more GOP representatives than Democrats due to gerrymandering.

Who would they install? The GOP does not vote as a block and the biggest trump haters are republicans because he destroyed their party. With democrats help and the GOP trump haters...who would they choose?

Which Republican Trump haters will be in the US House of Representatives a year from now? Exactly none.

You are clueless if you think people like Joe Lieberman and Ben Chavis would support an effort to help Trump get re-elected in 2024. They could very well save us from a Trump second term.

The individual congress members do not vote. Each state gets 1 vote. More red states than blue states. If all red states vote for Republican presidential candidate they win.

The fact that they have no candidates for congress seems to be a problem for this plan.
