| Wow. Congrats. Those are high stats.. Was CU a safety? |
| ^CU direct-admit to engineering is not a safety for OOS. |
If you don't know what you are talking about, it's best to keep quiet. |

CU is a great place congrats.
One of mine did data science grad school there. Fantastic professors. |
|
Congratulations!
Wonder if this is something we might see form other schools, since the date was "by 2/1", right? |
| Congrats! DC is there now and thriving (non-partier, loves the outdoors, very academically focused). There’s something for everyone there. |
Correct. Your best estimate is to check last year's release date. |

In! 😊
OOS Physics SAT 1560 No idea of the GPA- good? Admitted to Physics Yes, a safety. |
| Deferred. (But not too sad, DC has other acceptances that he likes just as well.) |
|

OOS TO 4.0 uw 10 APs Strong ECs/leadership Has gotten into some schools higher on the list, but it’s still nice to get the acceptance! |

Congrats to the accepted students and their families!
To a previous poster, I do think there is something about some of these schools pushing up their releases. VA Tech did it for a portion, now Boulder. Small sample but doubt it is an accident or shortfall of applications to read. Also would note for those questions about safety or not, engineering is a program with its own rates, especially for OOS students. |
| "University of Colorado Boulder admissions has an acceptance rate of 79% and an early acceptance rate of 93.7%. Half the applicants admitted to University of Colorado Boulder who submitted test scores have an SAT score between 1160 and 1390 or an ACT score of 26 and 31." |
