Absolutely. People think it’s a safety for Engineering - it’s not. Anecdotally, I think getting into the Communications college is pretty easy.

I got deferred with a 3.8 and pretty good extracurriculars and was surprised, considering I got into PSU smeal school of business. I also know others who had worse stats and got accepted.
