Should I keep my WW subscription?

I have about 40 pounds to loose. I lost about 10 but then the holidays blah blah . I gained it back. I could try to restart now. I could cancel and just work on the same ideas. I could try something else. I am crowd sourcing the choice. Thanks!

I switched to myfitness pal with protein goals

Can’t deal with WW “free” foods

I’m a devotee of Dr Gabrielle Lyon right now - muscle health

I added my own rules on free foods to limit them as I can eat fruit all day which would not result in weight loss. If I ate them outside of my 3 meals I counted points.

Oh please, it was intentional. People constantly misspell them on DCUM, Reddit, online etc.

OP should definitely be penalized for that extra 0! Let's not answer the question and just discuss consequences (just kidding OP)

I find WW to be worth it. The points system works well for me and I like the general emphasis on mindfulness. As a longtime member, I do believe that these issues are really personal and individualized — WW’s approach works for many but not all. What about the program helped you to lose the 10 lbs that you lost? What made you gain it back? Were you being too restrictive before the holiday to the point that you felt deprived? I think reflecting on these questions may help you decide. Good luck!

WW worked for me when in was in person. Now, with it being online, it’s just like all the other programs. Find a tracker and track - it’s much cheaper.

Genuinely curious, how do you gain 10 lbs in a 2 month period? Especially if you are trying to lose weight or at least maintain? Don’t you weigh yourself at least weekly?

If it was working for you, I would keep doing it unless you have an alternative that you know works.

Oh I know how it happens. You are very strict with what you eat and have success. One time you eat a little off track and then it’s down the slippery slope you go. It’s very common. You do sound so high and mighty.
