I think it makes sense. I know married couples who have separate bedrooms. I would sleep so much better if my husband was in a separate room. Between his snoring and moving all over when he can't sleep, it disrupts my sleep.

Totally disagree about separate homes. Kids need two parents and if you're married, why separate homes? I can see separate bedrooms, particularly if someone snores. DH and I like sharing a bedroom though.

It’s always great to have an additional bedroom if one of us is sick.
