JLC will be readily available this coming weekend. After his behavior toward the game officials yesterday, he was rightfully kicked out. How a club official gets kicked out is unbelievable. Maybe he can elaborate on how to be a leader and leading by example for the players and club couches and parents.

Can someone confirm if this did or did not happen?

Don’t know, he’s not our coach (only our TD). Which means we never see him.

In the email JC sent to the team Sunday night, he apologizes for how he behaved and in losing his composure. He states he apologized to the players after the game. He also states he will be appealing the ejection to the league because he felt it was harsh and hopes to be with the boys on Sunday in Alexandria.

We have been supportive of JC last year and stayed to see how his coaching would help DS. Unfortunately, his leadership and coaching have fallen way short of our expectations. Our family was discussing a change before Sunday’s incident and that just made the decision so much easier and clear.

Coach here.

This is too funny. Not the reaction by our leader but the message. I think it was mid August when JC and FL held a coaches meeting. JC rambled on about the club expectation on our behavior. He used an analogy of a ref letting the game get too physical and is feeling like the game is getting out of hand. “Rather than setting a bad example and yelling at the ref, I would rather you pull your team off the field and forfeit than get a red card for yelling at the ref” was the message JC made. Less than a season into it, it is too funny that only one coach has received a red card and it’s our fearless leader who 3 months ago issued the statement.

I believe many on the call were not in agreement with the statement as the message forfeiting sends doesn’t allow us to properly reach our kids how to deal with adversity but, the statement was made.

LB is now on the clock. Ouch. How do you react to this news?

This. THIS is why the DCUM is so helpful. I wouldn't have know about JC's actions and how he/LB decide to spend the money WE give them.

If what you're saying is true, it's likely what SO will be the *breathes in*:
2003 girls red (no team)
2004 girls red (no team)
2004 boys red (not CCL)
2005 boys red (not CCL)
2006 boys red (LC's team)
2007 boys red (LC's team)

Broken promises with SO. After being removed as a director, they promised him 3 teams. Just a correction to the previous post, SO is only the head couch for the 2004 boys. He went from a director with 2 teams to being promised 3 teams to only having 1 team. Very sad for a man of pure class.

Can’t imagine he’s pleased with this all.

We as parents of the club should buy the club and rebuild it right? LB should do the right thing and help the sale happen.. Its a non profit so a symbolic price of $1.00 would be appropriate. An honest and great communicating board can turn this thing around in 1-2 years.

It would be a good start to get new leadership but 1-2 years may be aggressive. Who is to say that the older players looking for better opportunities would stay and wait? Their teams are currently struggling. They should focus on building up the younger age groups in numbers and then going from there. Get more girls involved, at the moment the girls programs is too small.
