You know - this whole exchange is quite unfair. There is always some parent who comes on and says they need the kids to go back to school (because it was a hectic 2 weeks, because they have to work, whatever) and always the nasty trolls that come out and lecture everyone on being a parent. On the other side, there is always a parent who is worried about ice and someone who provides a lecture on living in Alaska.
If covid has taught us nothing else, we should have learned that there are various levels of risk tolerance and various levels of need to maintain routine. Tomorrow is truly a tough call. They could go either way depending of which side of the risk line they come down on.
