Do Christmas displays make you uncomfortable?

Why or why not?

No.

No why would they? This is a strange question. Almost like someone is trolling...

In places that shouldn’t be religious, yes. Schools, grocery stores, libraries, hospitals, government buildings, banks, etc. Feel like someone else’s religion is being shoved down my throat.

A church or private home? Sure.

As I am asking your opinion- I will give mine. I love all Christmas displays.

I will add in I love all holiday displays from all religions, but I love Christmas displays most of all. They bring back great childhood memories, I love seeing kids react to them, and they overall make everything in life seem a little brighter.

No. And my children love them.

Someone in another thread said to keep Christmas displays away from her and her family. I didn’t know that some people disliked Christmas displays, but apparently some people don’t?

No. We love Christmas!

Are you talking about nativity scenes or Christmas trees and stockings and elves and reindeer?

So no Christmas displays anywhere but a private home or church?

You haven’t clarified if you mean a nativity scene or things like tree or stockings or a sleigh and reindeer.

Do both types of decorations bother you?

I love them. I like religious ones, despite being an atheist. I love the story of the baby Jesus, Christmas carols, lights, the whole shebang.

Are you talking like Christmas lights? Or the nativity scene? I am a Christian but when I see someone with huge nativity scene in a random neighborhood, I find out a little disturbing.
