Jimmy Buffet said he can’t imagine Heaven without a Beach.
I agree. Heaven is magical and the Beach is a magical place |
| Maybe this IS heaven, and humans managed to turn it into hello |
| No. |
| No, I don't think there are. That's one of many reasons why I'm an atheist. |
| Oh Yes! And they’re never too crowded. And the sand is always warm — never too hot. There are separate beaches for seaweed and jellyfish. |
Does seaweed go to Heaven? |
Dang it! I love hot sand! Running on hot sand just before you go for a cool dive and feel the bottom of your feet sizzle is part of the fun! |
| And I wonder how old people look in heaven. The same age as when they died? Do they wear clothes. Is it just like earth or are you a ghost who walks through walls. |
| Do people in heaven pay attention to current events on earth? Can they see earth? Do they spy on naked people? Do they get hungry? |
| I think everyone’s heaven is different. I love dogs for example, there will be dogs running free in my heaven… if you’re terrified of dogs and make it to heaven your version will be different than mine. |

I hate sand, so I'll leave you to enjoy Beach Bliss while I take myself to Alpine mountaintops, my favorite place to be. It will be just like my little place in the French Alps, but without summer pollution that creeps up from the valley, and wintry lack of snow, due to global warming. There will be Proper Snow. And in the summer, I can Heidi my life making cheese and skipping after goats.
Sigh. |
Well yes, it's delicious. How else am I expected to make sushi and onigiri? |
Oh no. Now I have a visual of the Heavenly host as peeping toms. NOT the goal, PP! |
| To give a serious answer, my understand of heaven isn’t that it’s a place but it’s a feeling of completeness. Kind of think of it as that feeling of bliss when my toddler snuggles up next to me and all is right in the world. In that moment I don’t miss the beach or my dog or want for anything. Heaven will be like that feeling all the time—complete and total contentment. It sounds cruel because we love earthly things so much but in heaven we just won’t miss them! |
| We won't want for anything so there must be Beaches. |
