Shady grove not calling back

I was a patient pre pandemic and now looking to go back for another kid. But I can’t get shady grove to call me back! I left a message on their voicemail twice and sent a message through the portal asking for a follow up Appt.

Is there another number I’m missing to make a new appt? I not even a new patient!

I don’t know about the phone messages but they switched to a new portal a couple of months ago, so they might not have gotten your portal message.

Call the main line at your location and speak to the front desk to make a consult appointment.

Ive called 3 times at the Rockville location and can not ever reach a real person. What number are you using that gets beyond a voicemail box?

Maybe I’ll just try another location.

Try calling the Fairfax location. There is cross-scheduling allowed between some locations, so they may be able to pull up the Rockville schedule. If not, explain your situation and they should be able to help.

Try another location. I'm also a return patient and didn't have an issue reaching someone at Sibley.

I wonder if they have a sudden deluge of patients calling them now that some Fed plans will offer IVF coverage next year.

I don't think this is it. I am also at the Rockville location, and they are horrible with calling back. And this predates the fed coverage. There are weeks when I call and leave messages thrice and nothing. You have to keep calling until you get someone.

I almost missed a cycle because of this.

I have also tried to be a return patient and never received a call. It has been a long time.

I had great success calling the K street location to schedule as a returning patient. They did have to enroll me in the new portal system.

Consider finding another clinic! The level of care has gone down! It’s a disgrace! I am actively looking for another clinic, due to all the mistakes that have been made in the treatment by my nurse and a huge lack of communication

^ I am referring to the Shady Grove location. I don't know if other locations are better.

By lack of communication, is everyone talking about getting a response through the portal? I’m having the hardest time getting ahold of the financial coordinator. I’m ready to start treatment!
