They believe that Israel is exculpable from any behavior, no matter how abhorrent, so long as the behavior is done with the intent of eradicating Hamas. They can starve children to death, blow up thousands and thousands of children, bomb hospitals and mosques, etc., etc., that under any other circumstance with any other country would be considered a war crime.

I don’t think that at all. But if Hamas is just going to regroup and do another 10/7, what is Israel supposed to do?

Why is it so hard to stop a bunch of fat slobs on motorcycles?

Iron Dome allowed fat slobs in hang gliders to just float into Israeli airspace?

I have no doubts Netanyahu put stand down orders to the military and he wanted 10/7.

The entire summer 2023 Israel was mass demonstrating against him. The entire summer 2023 Gazans were also mass demonstrating Hamas.

What are the chances Hamas who has never done a ground assault to Israel before because they know the consequences would do the first one last year right after mass unpopularity and calls for Hamas and Netanyahu to step down ? I’m not a believer in coincidences. This was planned by both in hopes war would muster support for them

Not outside the realm of possibility, considering Israel already knew Hamas had plans for a 10/7 event. And Israel has been arresting the hostages' family members.

They are arresting anyone sympathizing with Gaza on social media as well and anyone protesting the governments (Netanyahus) actions ,which many of the hostage families are doing . Netanyahu is using this war to become more authoritarianism. “Not supporting Bibi is supporting Hamas” is the propoganda his supporters are spewing even falling Schumer a Jew hater .

You clearly don't understand Israel's military situation to spout such nonsense.
Hamas did it because Iran did not want a normalizing of Saudi Israeli relations.

Michigan U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg suggested that nuclear weapons should be dropped on Gaza, which his office said was a metaphor to “support Israel’s swift elimination of Hamas.”

“It should be like Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Get it over quick,” Walberg says in a video circulating on social media, referencing the Japanese cities that the U.S. dropped atomic bombs on at the end of World War II.

Walberg, a Republican from Lenawee County, also is heard in the video speaking out against humanitarian aid for those in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian territory on the brink of famine after more than five months of Israel's war against Hamas, militant group that set off the conflict with its Oct. 7 attack on Israeli citizens, killing 1,200 and taking 240 hostages.

“We shouldn’t be spending a dime on humanitarian aid," Walberg said.

The summary is that the Palestinians just need to move on and accept Israel. The challenge that the video didn’t address is the conditions that Palestinian live under and how this results in anger and stress that produces Hamas. Maybe the Israelis just don’t see this?

I agree Palestinians need to accept they are not moving back to their ancestral homes and Israel is a country. But israelis need to acknowledge that they’ve harmed the Palestinian so that they make changes to stop doing so.

They won’t move on. Part of the problem is Palestinians have the same pathology and DNA as Jews. Both stubborn and can’t move on or forgive. Not to compare but I have to compare: do Jews ever wonder by Bedouins in Israel are easy to deal with? It’s because they have a history of being nomadic.

Jews and Palestinians are people that don’t know how to make a deal. They want the land without any oil when the entire region is full of oil.

They will not move on because Hamas’ sole goal is the complete elimination of the Jewish people, not just in Israel, but globally. Israel has offered deal after deal, giving Palestinians offers to preserve their sovereignty and to allow them autonomy, over and over since the 1940s. Each time, the PA, Hamas, and other Palestinian supremacy groups have broken their agreements basically immediately, attacked Israel, and committed untold horrors against not just the State of Israel, but against innocent Israelis.

Both Hamas’ and the PA’s history of governance, if you can call it that, is a history of corruption, brutality, and placing their holy Jihad against the Jewish People over their people’s needs. They steal aid that should be going to the Palestinian people to sell to the rich and powerful in Gaza and the West Bank. They dig up what little infrastructure is present in the state to build out their military capacity, they shoot their own people when they are trying to follow Israel’s temporary evacuation orders - then complain when Israeli rockets kill civilians.

Throughout the past 20 years, Israel has been patient. They have intended to build through a 2-state solution, regardless of whether Hamas/the PA have any intention of settling for a 2-state solution. They have reacted to terrorist attacks with limited missions, and hoped beyond hope that over time Hamas and the PA would moderate their stance and that something that could even arguably be considered a functional government would grow out of the ashes. In the West Bank, the PA has, to a minor extent, moderated and focused itself, however after 10/7, it is clear that Hamas has zero intention or willingness to support their people. they absolutely must destroy Hamas, and decimate their military and educational infrastructure, for Israel’s continued safety, and for the innocent Palestinian people. That is what the IDF’s mission is, and anybody who cares even a little about the innocent civilians- on both sides of this tragedy - must support Israel in their mission to remove Hamas from Gaza, because there will be no solution until Hamas is gone, and because Hamas and their Allie’s in the UNRWA, the PA, and other organizations must be removed from holding any sway in the Middle East.

That wasn’t my point. What is Israel’s military situation that I don’t understand? What I do know is the prime minister of Israel had record resistance and mass demonstrations throughout Israel last year. He was facing corruption charges and wanted to change the judiciary .

Correction:
Throughout the last 20 years, the Palestinians in the West Bank have been patient .

Too patient than most

He’d be glad to know the bombs Israel uses on Gazans and in Lebanon and in Israel are 10x more painful than nuclear as the burning is intense

Netanyahu is the biggest danger to Israel. The only reason 10/7 was able to happen is because IDF had to be restationed from Gaza crossing to the West Bank to protect the settlers during a religious holiday. These settlers don’t need protection. They decided to not live in Israel but in the West Bank so they should be treated as Palestinian citizens not Israelis.
Anonymous
Arab Israelis are treated as Israelis so settlers need to be treated as Palestinians

Israel’s army’s priority should be to protect Israel not to protect settlers that do not live in Israel unless they believe the West Bank is Israel which it seems Netanyahu does believe.
For someone as short sighted, I’m sure it never occurred to him that poking the bear with settlers would make Palestinians in the West Bank lose patience one day and join or create Hamas over there too so Israel would have to deal with Hamas on both sides

You are absolutely delusional regarding Israel’s intentions and actions.

You clearly don't understand Israel's military situation to spout such nonsense.
Hamas did it because Iran did not want a normalizing of Saudi Israeli relations.

How do you know this? I know that it is commonly said that Hamas and Herbollah are Iran’s proxies but what evidence is there that this is true other than conjecture (I’m fine with believe proof if it’s out there).

Well Israel told us. That should be enough…Israel never lies and has a lot of respect for the US.
