I don't know about other countries, but most 30 somethings in the US aren't providing financial assistance to their parents. In this day and age, it's usually the other way around. |

It's normal for non-immigrant's children. They actually get their college and/or first house paid for by their parents. It's not normal for immigrant's children. You are expected to help after your parents' sacrifice. |
