It's so easy to say "just ban TikTok" when you have never used it. Some peoples' livelihood depends on TikTok. And if we are going to ban companies that collect and misuse data, why is Facebook still allowed to exist? And China doesn't need toktok to collect info on Americans. There are plenty of Chinese spies in every big institution in the US. MIT, the CDC, the military, etc. Probably Facebook and google too.

Also, please don't be fooled by the government's attempts to ban TikTok. Look at the bill. It allows the government to ban way more than just toktok. With the wrong people in power that bill could have some scary consequences.
