The main problems with federal agencies are our Congressional mandates and statutory requirements. Maybe Congress should think about rolling some of those back so that agencies could be staffed leaner. I know that my own section has nonsensical laws governing it that should be updated immediately.
Congress panders to the public and doesn't care about the burden imposed on agencies. |

| The most that will happen is that the candidate who really wins (not Ramaswamy) may try some reorg, but on a much smaller scale, and that may be successful. |

Which is it? Federal employees are indispensable so must return to the office in person, or federal employees are expendable? I can’t keep up.

No one thinks federal employees are indispensable, they just think we perform better in the office. Many people think federal employees are expendable and the petulant teenager attitude of not being willing to get out of your pajamas and leave your home is fueling that perception. |
