When her trip was first revealed, her spokesperson said that the trip was Melania's idea and that the president was not sending her. If that is true, my guess is that when Trump found out about the trip, he told Melania not to go for some reason. She decided to go anyway and the coat was a big F-U to him.

But what I wonder is: when did she buy it? How long has she been planning on buying it? Who found it? Did she go online and find it? Did one of her people find it? It's not like she's not running out to Zara herself to do some shopping.

This is what I’m wondering too. How did she even end up owning it? Barron seems to like clothes with quirky sayings on them. Maybe he gave it to her as a gift.
