How did I mock her? I judged her command of English, which seems fairly mediocre given she's lived here for nearly 20 years, don't you think? I mean, if you hear her speak English, you can't say she's completely fluent. My DH who has difficulty with accents can barely understand her. To me that says she doesn't spend a lot of her day speaking English with others, and that implies she speaks very little with her husband, which is understandable.

To mock her I would have mimicked her accents or syntax. But I actually love accents and think hers is kind of adorable.
