Democrats voting no ended the SNAP, until Dems vote yes nothing with contingency can be done because SNAP isn’t functioning right now. If you want fewer children to be born, then you provide cheap and easy access to birth control. That has been the only thing proven in research to work, and it works very well.

No, you misunderstand. There are emergency funds already allocated for this situation. They have been used before, when SNAP was on pause.

The ballroom is privately funded, but kudos to you for arguing the news-du-jour because you can't debate your way out of a paper bag and have no concept of the HISTORY of this country.

It's a federal building. Who signed off on the permits, if the federal government was shut down? Who officially reviewed and signed off on the plans? DC doesn't have a state government running the permit process.
