2029 NGLL first round: Coppermine (1) vs Hero's White (8) MD United East (4) vs M&D Black (5) Hero's Green (2) vs Integrity Green (7) M&D DC (3) vs Skywalkers Blue (6) |

I thought 3 way ties were decided with GA. How is HW the #8? |
I think GC was able to capitalize on their great season last year to pull in talent from the 2029 class. |
Head to head is #2 tiebreaker method. HW beat both BLC and Legends. Tiebreakers: 1. Teams will be seeded by their record according to the following formula (percentage): 2. Head to Head Competition 3. Goals allowed vs. in-division opponents 4. Goals differential vs. in-division opponents (maximum score difference of 10 per game) |
Heard SSSAS did well as usual; and SJC has several club players incoming. Any word from other ISL or WCAC programs? |
Weird year with injuries to key players at BLC and M&D DC. Hope everyone heals up for HS ball. Great players around DMV. |
MDDC went 7-1. Nothing weird here. |
Quite an accomplishment! |
And a #11 ranking to boot. Well done girls! |
Very impressive. Back to back years with a DC-area team going 7-1 in NGLL and rising to top 10-15 level in national rankings.
This year it's a bit of an all-star team given the 9 from Pride joining NL to form M&D DC, but still impressive. Rumors of the demise of lacrosse in the DC-area remain greatly exaggerated. |
There are usually around 20 +/- solid girls for each age group in the DMV. Problem is there are 5 or 6 travel clubs. If all the top girls can stay together, it could be a VERY good team. This is usually where Capital steps in. If M&D DC can all ride with one team (whatever that team is), there are good things ahead. |
+1 DC area lacrosse is not dead despite!!! |
Definitely on the decline! |
Appreciate the data-rich and well-reasoned argument. Exclamation point didn't do much for you either. |
