OMG. Could you possibly be more out of touch?

+1. I am a Dem but based on my DH’s extended family, the border IS the issue. And just look at the Trump’s campaign, he us basically running on this because he has nothing else. Economy is great, inflation is down to 3% and trending down, stock market is great, things are fine for most people and Trump certainly cannot run on increasing the debt to unsustainable level to give megabillionaires even more money, which eventually will lead to more taxes just to pay for the interest on the debt, or on cutting SS and Medicare. Abortion is also out (see the difference with Trump’s 2016 campaign, he no longer cares about saving the unborn, ). The border snd the “invasion” of hordes of rapists and criminals is what will propel him into the WH again unfortunately. That’s why he immediately sank the bipartisan border bill, because he wanted the chaos to run on.

President Biden’s announcement that he was dropping out of the 2024 race stunned a number of White House staffers who believed he would stay the course.

Many reportedly learned of the historic news from social media.

“We’re all finding out by tweet,” one Democrat close to the matter told Politico. “None of us understand what’s happening.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe found out about it by tweet too.

Shouldn’t you be bowing down to Trump? Your king?

DP. That’s your response? Okaaaaay…

Reminds me of a line from Big Daddy, "You'll be missing me when you have that big white wrinkly body on top of you with his loose skin and old balls... gross!" That's Trump. That's the GOP nominee, folks. He's old. Did anyone tell you that he's low energy, old and dementia riddled?

The pp isn't that far from the mark, looking at MAGAs wearing fake bandages on their ears...

Ten million unvetted illegal aliens. You don't think there's some terrorism baked into that cake?

How many did it take to execute 9/11? Maybe 30 in-country?

Come on, folks. Trump needs his naps to keep up his energy. He also wears diapers, right? I mean, that's what we want out of a Presidential candidate. A senile old man in diapers. I guess that's the GOP problem now.

please, I honestly want to know what good things he did for the country. I keep asking people that liked him this question and the only answer I ever get is something they don't like about Trump. So, can anyone tell me, with out mentioning Trump, what good Biden did for the country? This is an honest question, not trying to cause hate or anger.

He lowered the prices of 64 prescription medications.

Nope, where did I acknowledge that?

Brown had been legally separated from his wife for more than 10 years when he dated Kamala. And, she obviously didn't need his help to advance her career because her career went well beyond his reach. The PP is a fool for trying to make that claim.

I mean, even if that had actually happened…nowhere in my comment did I remotely mention or acknowledge anything like that. Are these the best and the brightest trolls that MAGA has to offer? Sad.

Nobody is answering this. How exactly did Trump prevent this during his tenure?

And why did he take the bipartisan immigration bill?

Excerpt men have to register for Selective Service and fight in war, with their bodies, if drafted. Remember Vietnam? What happened to men’s bodies in Vietnam?

Yeah, that is not a good faith argument.

He still looks whipped AF.

It’s truth. There’s a draft and men’s bodies are killed and injured in the resulting war. Registration for selective service is a law.

Uh we have not had the draft since January 1973. Try again.

Yes and the men who bring this up like some kind of own are almost always the ones who have been spending time trying to forbid women from being able to take combat roles even after having proven themselves so miss me on this you had to check a box that will never amount to much as you sit in your basement as a keyboard warrior.

Anonymous wrote:A PP said people wouldn't vote for Kamala because she's never had children. What?? That's ridiculous.

Ohhhh no it's not - not in evangelical circles. And I don't think Trump surrogates will be able to stay away from the issue. Trump/MAGA already have a problem with women. This is not going to help. Can you imagine Donald Trump choking out the words that's it's perfectly fine for women to make the choice not to have children. Not to mention the evangelical reaction to that. Very rock and a hard place position here.

? Evangelicals wouldn't vote for a Dem anyways, so moot point.

Not a moot point. Trump has a problem with women. If you have Trump surrogates out there attacking Kamala Harris for being childfree you aren't turning out women who don't want to vote Dem but are on the fence for the GOP. And if the GOP/Trump try to distance themselves from this POV you start losing the evangelicals. Trump has already made the hard line abortion folks angry.

By and large this election isn't about winning large swaths of voters over. It's about maintaining your 2020 support and undermining the support for your opponent.

DP. ONE person in an anonymous forum made the comment about Harris and children. Could you possibly be overreacting (as usual)?

This thread is 70 pages long since it was started a few hours ago. If you think it's that irrelevant just move on.

Right, and in those 70 pages, one poster made that comment - that you have taken and run with. Clearly YOU need to just move on.

Can you point out where he says he’s going to pull out of debates? I don’t see it.

I don’t see it, either.

That said, he didn’t participate in the Republican debates because he didn’t need to. He won without even showing up.

He doesn’t need to debate the Dem nominee at all. He probably won’t decline to debate at this stage, because it would be interpreted as weakness, but a debate won’t hurt him and absolutely runs the risk of hurting Harris, if she is the nominee.
