+1. I am a Dem but based on my DH’s extended family, the border IS the issue. And just look at the Trump’s campaign, he us basically running on this because he has nothing else. Economy is great, inflation is down to 3% and trending down, stock market is great, things are fine for most people and Trump certainly cannot run on increasing the debt to unsustainable level to give megabillionaires even more money, which eventually will lead to more taxes just to pay for the interest on the debt, or on cutting SS and Medicare. Abortion is also out (see the difference with Trump’s 2016 campaign, he no longer cares about saving the unborn, ). The border snd the “invasion” of hordes of rapists and criminals is what will propel him into the WH again unfortunately. That’s why he immediately sank the bipartisan border bill, because he wanted the chaos to run on. |

Yes and the men who bring this up like some kind of own are almost always the ones who have been spending time trying to forbid women from being able to take combat roles even after having proven themselves so miss me on this you had to check a box that will never amount to much as you sit in your basement as a keyboard warrior. |

I don’t see it, either. That said, he didn’t participate in the Republican debates because he didn’t need to. He won without even showing up. He doesn’t need to debate the Dem nominee at all. He probably won’t decline to debate at this stage, because it would be interpreted as weakness, but a debate won’t hurt him and absolutely runs the risk of hurting Harris, if she is the nominee. |
