As a Democrat, it all feels hopeless.

Um, Trump is gross, so not concerned there. The Trump/Vance policies are anti women.

Yeah but there are lots of women who are angry about their grocery bills.

+1

a lot lot.

Democrats want to draft women to fight and die for their wars. No way.

What wars are American soldiers fighting in now?

US Navy ships repeatedly attacked by Houthis. My son is deployed now on a destroyer.

May God protect him and all who serve

The holy trinity of Gods protecting our Destroyers are named "Standard Missile, Sea Sparrow and Phalanx."

Expecting religious faith to protect our sailors is folly.

Many people are atheists until the bombs start dropping.

When the bombs start dropping is when you realize there isn't really a God.

Most likely.

But Trump put a cynical, grifter cultural warrior as his VP candidate.

The door is a little open

Like Sarah Palin imploded any hope of a McCain presidency

JD Vance is a high risk pick for Trump. If he really wanted to win, he would have gone with Rubio.

Trump could have played golf for 4 months and won. Instead he picked an extremely unlikeable candidate that is going to galvanize every woman in the country.

Earlier this year. Biden forgot about them (along w Afghanistan deaths) in the debate.

Trump claimed that no soldiers died on his watch when in fact twice as many died on his watch than Biden's.

No soldiers died on Trump's watch, it was just suckers and losers.

Cho she -den and hawk tua Harris are responsible for more deaths of American Service members than Trump.

Not only that but the complete bumbling of the Afghanistan withdrawal. The original plan was to leave via Baghram and not cause the shit show dementia Joe did.

For more years pause.

Your argument is that JD Vance is MORE controversial and galvanizing than Trump?

It is depressing. The conservatives have dominated the media. Trump learned you don’t need policy as long as you have an easy three word chant for people to regurgitate. The vast majority of Americans are supporting a convicted felon and a rapist, who first term was historic in the amount of family graft and political corruption that took place. Conservatives have been pushing civil war, deportation camps, and violence against Democrats. These are dark days, OP.

Lawfare didn’t work; democrats should not have installed a senile man and a highly unpopular and incompetent vp who is worse than the senile guy.

Yes, having more mouths to feed when you can’t afford day care and groceries will help that. Project 2025 will do away with emergency birth control.

If only the DNC hadn't been stupid enough to let the unelectable Clinton run. Biden would be coasting to the end of his second term, a good Vice President would be in place to win in November, and we would have been spared Project 2025 and the next round of conservative Supreme Court justices. Hillary and Ruth Bader Ginsberg have a lot to answer for

How about the Rs could have impeached Trump? He is clearly a disqualified candidate. They could have put forth a less crazy candidate and Biden wouldn’t be running at all.

Why even leave it to Republicans?

How about having a competitive primary with smart and qualified candidates under the age of 86?

Just a thought.

The point is Trump is completely disqualified to be president based on his actions. The fact that we are here now is complete insanity.

Biden isn’t senile? Do you think he’s really ok?Do you think anyone noticed he’s not ok?

Why did democrats spend millions of dollars of taxpayer money trying to put Trump in jail?

Based on your opinion? That’s not what the world runs on. Your opinion is not the reality for everyone else.

It doesn't matter what he was doing, PP. Nothing he does will change minds unless he become bed-ridden. The people who will vote for him already know and don't care that he has the personality and faults he has. He can go to sleep or go on about sharks all he wants, AND win the Presidency.

But the same is not true for Biden. Most Democrats have higher standards of coherence and policy than MAGAs, and the debate showed that Biden was utterly incompetent on at least one of those. They are deeply resentful of the lies perpetrated by his inner circle that allowed Biden to shoulder his way past the primary season. Biden has NO chance of winning a second term.

It's going to be Trump for President, or miraculously, Harris with a centrist VP. Biden doesn't know he's lost, but he's already lost.

Exactly. This election isn’t about issues. I keep hoping and praying Biden will come to his senses and someone will get through to him.

For democrats it is hopeless

They saw what happened in 2016 with Hillary and wanting to expand immigration

And yet they let 7,000,000 illegal aliens in and expanded legal immigration

Democrats want to lose , there can be no other conclusions

Who is God sending to get through to Biden? God better send someone to get through to Jill and Hunter.
