Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)
+2 Biedleman is safe. McKnight is safe. I mean if I am judging a bureaucracy on how well it circles the wagons and protects its own, kudos to MCPS. They certainly lack leadership but have the Machiavellian thing down pat. |
| Beidleman was in the staff directory last week, as an administrator on special assignment, but now he is not showing up.... |
Frustrating, but true. |
| Yep they knew once preservice started it would all go away |
“We hold that the WBL does not apply to public school teachers employed by county boards of education because they are not employees of the Executive Branch of State government.” Yikes! So we are just supposed to be door mats and let abuse happen?!? |
Oh I know it's so craaaazy! I just don't know what to do!!! |
|
Uhh, no. I know people in MCPS with ties to the leadership team and they are very much worried about it. Something is brewing. |
Yeah. I don't know why the PP is so invested in convincing the rest of us that there will be no fallout from this scandal. I'm not so convinced. Doesn't mean MCPS won't pull any stunts, but there's nothing in the air to confirm that Beidleman or McKnight are off the hook yet. |

And this is why teachers unions aren't really respected. !8 sexual assault chargers
I really don't know why teachers roll with this. Seems very counterintuitive |
Wishing it doesn’t make it come true. There are experienced investigative reporters looking into MCPS practices. This will end up being the case that broke the dam. |
Huh, maybe he's gone? |
The outrage has not subsided. |
Talk about wishful thinking. A freelancer and an intern don’t have the time to stay with this story and MCPS has already succeeded in shutting them down. MCPS has even compromised the IG investigations. The BOE says it is “collaborating” with them now, which is different than being investigated by them. |
