How much sleep does your 7 year old get?

Nine-ten hours. Lights out at 8:45, but I know she's up for a bit after that. Wake up is 6:45 three days a week and later on the other days, including weekends.

11 hours. Bed time at 7.

Lights out 7:30. Wakes naturally around 6:30, so eleven hours.

Lights out at 8:15 but she often stays up reading with a flashlight (trying to get her to stop this). She’s asleep by 9 usually. She is a night owl like her parents and I have to drag her out of bed at 7:30. She’s already a surly teenager telling me to go away!

10-11hrs. I can tell when he’s only gotten 9 because he is irritable.

Same, only she sleeps more like 9:30-7:30, or 10-8 on the weekends. We have a pretty easy morning routine so the late wake-up isn't an issue. We've found that even with black out curtains and no screen time after 4pm, it's just very hard for her to fall asleep before 9pm, especially this time of year when the days are long. So we allow a very liberal amount of reading/journaling/drawing in bed at night. Bed-time is 8, but we read with her for 30 minutes and then she reads or does another quiet activity in bed for the next hour.

9-10 hr (asleep around 9, wakes up between 6:30 and 7:00)

/\ similar to above. 10-10.5 hours. Usually asleep around 9:15-9:30, and up around 7:15-7:30. It will likely push earlier with daylight savings, but this time of year she just can’t fall asleep much earlier.

8 or 9. He’s still on summer bedtime hours but needing to wake up for school.

10ish hours, ideally 10 1/2

We aim for over 10 hours. He's in bed by 8pm and up at 6:30am. If he starts getting too cranky in the mornings, or seems tired at night, we try to move his bedtime to 7:30pm if we can. He's started sleeping in a little on weekends, which helps. We'll see how long that lasts though once the 6:30am school schedule settles in.

We aim for 11 but averages 10-10.5. Bedtime of 8 PM, but rarely falls asleep before 8:30-8:45.
