I have seen images of being served a floating breakfast in a private pool in places like the Maldives.
Is there anywhere closer I can get something like this? |
|
I am sure some of the higher end places in FL would do it.
Or you could just rent out the pool area at a local hotel and have this as part of your catering package. Or tip well before pool hours at a hotel and arrange with hotel. DH bought out a rooftop pool are in Europe for a private meal. Based on what he paid they probably would have arranged for us to eat off a lions stomach if he had asked. So I am sure serving you in the pool wouldn't be a big deal. |

I had this in Bali, but that’s not any closer đŸ˜‚
It’s also not that great imo. Only for the ‘gram. |

French Polynesian
But is an overpriced ripoff. |
| The real question is: why would you? It's like breakfast in bed. Risks of mishaps abound. I prefer to eat at a table like a normal person - the quality of the food is more important than a weird place to eat it. |
Feels like the platonic ideal of that. |
| Yeah stick with a poolside bar, not breakfast. |
A pool that reeks of bleach? No thank you. |
Who doesn't want to swim in water people have dropped bits of food in? It's a fancier version of the time I saw a drunk guy throw up in a lazy river. |
| Sounds gross. |
If there is one thing I have always thought when sitting in a comfortable chair, eating a nice meal at a table it's "this sitting down thing sucks, there has to be a better way to do this" |
What kind of pools are you going to? Most use chlorine. |
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_hypochlorite " commonly known in a dilute solution as (chlorine) bleach" |
| I did this. It's not worth it IMO. The pictures you see are heavily stylized. |
The nicer resorts have saltwater pools. |
