I just looked up those chocolates. Does the chocolate shop in DC just package them and hand write the names to order? I assumed they made them in house but they are shipped in from Missouri or Kansas?

The chocolate shop in DC has them but also other makers I think. But you can get the Christopher elbow ones already boxed.

The mixed boxes from the chocolate store on 18th are more luxurious but I assume the Christopher elbow ones are more widely available.

Oooh, I love this thread! "These are a few of my favorite things" -- only I am so indecisive I can't think of any signature favorite things! Damn!

Awe Inspired jewelry (goddess themed stuff -- I love my Morrigan pendant and tree of life necklace best)

Evian water (I almost never get it anymore as I try not to purchase single-use plastic, so it is a real treat for me)

Thai Massage

Fancy dog sweaters for my toy poodle from Ruff Houzin

When I am visiting a pregnant, new mom or sick friend, I always gift my favorite "feel good" cozy items -
Nordic Peace smiley socks, Laniege lip mask and a Bodha scented eye pillow. https://www.nordicpeace.com/products/smiley-face-socks-pack

I really like the squishy bubblegum cheap looking Birkenstocks.

Great thread!

Diptyque Lait Frais body lotion. It has the most amazing but subtle scent.

I’m also loving my Dr. Dennis Gross led mask. I’m not sure if it helps with against, but my skin definitely has more of a glow when I use it.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. If you can wait for a sale, you can get a full-size refillable plus a refill for $120. I love that stuff but I only buy the refills on sale. During the sales you can also typically get a really good gift with purchase, like full-size products.

A very good friend gifted the wedding ornament to me when I got married and it was the best gift I got. Now I gift it: https://oldworldchristmas.com/products/brides-ornaments-collection?gclid=CjwKCAjw8symBhAqEiwAaTA__JtwcZsPOoNaZowsveVQjXf-e83h_Pz35RIt4WQOyuBjGV5Arf-PyBoCbtYQAvD_BwE

I love the wooden box and being able to write in it the names of the couple. I found it a pretty original, romantic, practical and thoughtful gift

Another thing I really like are these lollipops (we gift to my kids' friends) that we discovered in Italy. I have never had but DD says they really taste like lemon and orange, just really different than any others she's had made in US: https://piccolosgastronomia.com/products/copy-of-perle-di-sole-assorted-amalfi-lemon-orange-drops-17-63-oz-500g

Lastly - I like a very expensive and a very cheap candle both Really expensive is Sisley Campagne candle you can get at Neimens and really cheap are the Target Project 82 Aloe Bergamot ones. Malin + Goetz Rum Candle is in between
