WYR: Marry person you lost virginity to, or work at your first job for the rest of your life

????

Me? Work at my first job the rest of my life, only down side is i would be stuck in my small hometown.
But the guy i lost my virginity to would NOT be a good life partner so no way i could marry him.

Well, I did the former. I don't regret it because of my kids.

And delivering the Northwest Current on my two block "route" for $0.35 every too weeks probably wouldn't support my family too well.

I married the person I lost my virginity too and I'm still married. I'm long gone from my first job (thank goodness, I made $10.50/hr). So there you have it.

I'd marry the guy I lost my virginity too. He was a nice guy, and while not wildly successful, he appears to be doing ok, and he's still pretty good looking.

I quit my first job after a month, so that tells you all you need to know about that, haha!

Door #1 please.

The question is poorly worded. Do you have to stay married to that first guy for the rest of you life? Either way, I’m glad I don’t still work at McDonald’s in my 50s.

Marry a rapist or answer the phones in a convent for $4.35/ hour forever... I choose the nuns.

Leave both, move to a big city, work hard, do the hustle and become someone and find someone you see as a good life partner.

You also can stay in your small town, work hard, build a good life and eventually find a better partner.

Well, I started with one route. I got a bicentennial quarter and a dime in an envelope through my mail slot every two weeks.

I added a couple other routes. One I got a half dollar and something. I think it was $0.02 a house rounded up to the nearest nickel? Whoever dropped the envelopes off seriously took the time to make sure you always got something special. I never got a regular quarter.

Clearly, this wasn't recent.

I am doing the latter. Sort of. Still with the same company where I started just out of college.

I am 50. There are a few of us here.

I assumed this was first job out of college - that would have been my choice.

But if not, and it's first job ever - I'd marry the guy. We'd divorce quickly anyway (as he did with his actual first wife) and then I'd be on my way.

I did both- married the guy and still in my first salaried job out of grad school (had other gig jobs and hourly work before though). I’m in my 30s

Marry then immediately divorce.

I married the one who took my virginity, and every night I go in and try to get it back.
