FCPS Republican Trolls are at it again

Anonymous
If we report posts that we think are the Republicans just trying to stir up trouble would you be willing to delete or at least lock them? Every summer before a big election (there are school board elections this year), they come on and try to stir up trouble so people will vote for their school board candidates. It's so obvious to me, but other people take the bait and then the threads get out of control.

You can report the thread and I'll look at it but no promises beyond that.

This is astounding to me. You're actually admitting, with zero shame, that you don't want people to be able to express their political opinions if they differ from yours? Let me guess - you smugly call Republicans "fascists" but you clearly don't see the irony.

You'd better believe people (of all political stripes) are aware there are school board elections this year. Funny that you see nothing wrong with promoting your OWN favored candidates, but can't bear to see others doing the same. This is one of the most important SB elections we've ever had, and I - along with everyone else - will be voting accordingly. I'm sorry that triggers you so.

If only you could do that without lying or fearmongering.

It seems like you’re trying to stifle discussion because it only seems natural that people would call attention to issues that concern them before an election, regardless of your party affiliation or which candidates you support.

DP, but if the facts are on your side then you should rebut, not ask for censorship.

You're illustrating just how little self-awareness you have (again). Do better.

+1
The OP is absolutely trying to muzzle anyone she doesn't agree with - as usual.

Thanks for letting us know you don’t know what “censorship” means.

OP is complaining that posters are complaining about what their children are learning in school, or rather, what they aren't learning. And she thinks it's all fake. Bizarre, really, to think that parents on a parenting forum wouldn't and apparently shouldn't care about the quality of their children's education.

Enlighten us, please. Asking the moderator to delete or lock threads with which you disagree seems like “censorship” for purposes of this forum.

I didn’t invoke the First Amendment because obviously it doesn’t apply to a private website. But “censorship” seemed appropriate in this context.

I am doing better. I'm explaining why people don't want BS Republican propaganda on DCUM.

IMO, the moderator should delete lies/misinformation/propaganda.

Which is all that the GOP has so...

Maybe if you don't want your crap deleted then maybe your party should come up with an actual platform.

But BS Democratic propaganda is a-ok in your book, amirite? Not to mention liberal gaslighting. Got it. Apparently you don't realize how idiotic you look by requesting Republican opinions to be banned.
