Which state do you prefer if you had to pick one and where would you go?
I’m going with CA, Big Sur |
| California. I hate stupidity, humidity, and Trumpers. I'll hang out in the Bay Area and Los Angeles instead. |
| San Diego and Monterrey for the win. Love, love, love. |
| California: less humid and more to do. So many great areas: San Diego, Los Angeles, Napa, etc. |

California - great weather 10.5 months out of the year, Mediterranean climate, beaches, mountains, deserts, old growth forest. Exporter of American culture.
I mean, it’s not even a contest. Florida’s claim to fame is that it’s a place to avoid taxes. Ok. |
| California hands down. |
| Cali. We stopped going to Florida ages ago. |
| For those who enjoy visiting Florida, where do you go? |
| There's a bigger variety in CA - wine, skiing, beaches, sports. |
The Keys. |
| We go to Indian Rocks Beach in Florida every summer for a week with friends. We stay in condos on the beach, set up a beach camp cabana, hang out together, swim in the pool and gulf and walk to dinner. You can’t really get that kind of beach experience anywhere north of San Diego/ LA in CA. So I think it depends on what kind of vacation you are looking for. |
I had a great time in Miami. So much fun. But nothing can beat the weather and the variety of experiences and landscapes California offers. From wine county to farmland to national parks to cities, suburbs, beach towns, deserts, redwoods… |

They are completely different!
Florida is so easy to get to, love it for a quick weekend beach getaway. |
| Florida is much better for beaches and water activities including sailing or motor boating. CA beaches are far too cold. Florida does have some charming islands and scenery, especially on the gulf side. But CA easily wins the natural scenery and weather battle, hands down. Too bad the state is f****ed up by crazy politicians. |
