Is anyone thinking twice about going?
We have a place just north of Miami and genuinely not sure I should be taking the kids there at this point. |

Along with 15 other states that have Constitutional carry.
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming. |
Has not crossed my mind. How many people concealed carried with a permit? Even under a “permit-to-concealed carry” regime, I wouldn’t know who was or wasn’t carrying. When I don’t know if someone has a gun, I assume they do. |
you do? I live in NYC and it would never occur to me to assume someone has a gun |
Mostly. Seems safer to assume folks are armed. Might not be concealed carry, might just be a gun under the seat in their car. Either way, fairly readily accessible. |

What a sad , sick state we have reached as a nation.
And we wonder why more kids are dying from gun violence than car accidents. Or why they might have mental health problems when they have to carry out active shooter drills from kindergarten on. Start voting on the gun issue people because it is going to take decades to roll back this sick state of affairs. |
Yeah, but Florida has its own kind of crazy+stupid. There's a reason "Florida man" is a thing. |

You get to fire 30 shots at the pool boy too.

| Sickening, but let's face it, Florida has deteriorated into a fascist state. So let them shoot each other. Just keep them in their state. Don't let those armed crazies out into my state. |
Really? Not a gun (or a knife?)? Try reading the news. |

Wait. You're just now debating this? You should definitely sell your place. Absolutely. And don't go to Florida ever again. |
Not if this assumption causes you to draw your weapon on somebody. |
Interesting. Are they all mostly governed by conservatives? |
| As it should be in every state. Hopefully we can get to 25 by the end of 2024. |
