Time to cancel Chick Fil A

Anonymous
Yep, it's now time to throw Chick Fil A into the dustbin, because they are now Woke Chicken, with DEI and ESG and all those other things to hate.

Anonymous
Unassailable logic: Once you have DEI and ESG, the unavoidable, inevitable next step is obviously to make you chug tr@nnie s3men by putting it in your lemonade.

These people are all nuts

Don't worry, OP, it's all performative virtue signaling and does nothing in practice.

Fast food chains have gotten a lot more expensive so we don't eat there as much as we used to (to say nothing of health), but we know, sadly, that "woke" and "DEI" is just the latest pat on the back by American liberals. It's not a true exercise in tolerance. We ignore all that.

And Chick-fil-A has had this policy in place for ages. Weird time to get offended now!

Liberals and progressives gave up Chick Fil A long ago because of their homophobia. Now the right is giving them up too.

This is so sad. This is how indoctrinated they are. This gentlemen on Twitter is saying that he is literally confused about how to handle this "issue" (which really is a non issue) and he is reaching out for help on how to form outrage.

PP you replied to. This is exactly my point. You don't need to boycott any company. They're all trying to position themselves to please what they identify as their main customer base. So what if they switched to donating to conservative causes to including messages of inclusion and hiring a DEI chief? None of it matters. It won't change how the company is run, which is very well, and probably with minimal social-political issues.

It's all smokescreens, people. If you want to eat there, go eat there. Shop at any store you want. None of them stand on any sort of ideology.

Problem is, they tried to rehabilitate themselves to bring back liberals. Didn't work. And now they're losing the conservatives as well.

It works so well that everyone ignores the chatter and keeps buying what they want.
Chick-fil-A couldn't care less about the "cancel culture" attempts. They're a robust company. Same for Target. They couldn't care less about their Pride tempest in a teapot. Right wingers and left wingers can stamp their feet all they want, but they are not representative of most shoppers.

Honestly, people don't know the half about chick fil a. They are hated by liberals, but Cathay actually owns the largest film studio in the US, where all the woke Marvel movies are made. They are as woke as any other modern company.

And I'm conservative, but I don't care. They could employ nothing but satanic drag queens, and if they greet me with "hey y'all" and say "my pleasure" while handing me a spicy chicken sandwich and a frosted lemonade, I wouldn't say a single unkind word.

It’s funny that this nut jobs really think they have economic power. CFA will still have super long lines tomorrow.

This was the best response to her.

CFA hardly ever got cancelled. Liberals tried yet the company continued expanding. There are like 5 locations in liberal, gay friendly DC. Any similar attempt by conservatives will fail too.
