| If you have tried it, did it do anything? What device do you use? What’s the treatment schedule? |
Following. Need a push to spent all that money. Youtubers and dermatologists swear by it. |
| I'm interested in this too. My acne has been bad lately and I'm thinking about it |
|
I bought this mask and when I use it consistently my skin has never looked better. It is the one thing that I really find makes a difference. It is also supposed to help your skin absorb skin care products as well.
I did find I needed to use it for a while before it made a difference. https://www.dermstore.com/the-light-salon-boost-led-mask/13904813.html?utm_egbu=DS+::+DERM+::+US+::+EN+::+GGL+::+PMAX+::+HP+/+PF+::+Shopping-Only&utm_egb=&utm_ega=&utm_egc=&gclid=CjwKCAjwx_eiBhBGEiwA15gLN0p0ebA0Jt7SzNHDhYet36uG4tAyR-tVG_8W6BvS9tVBMVYjkFTHKxoCvGcQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds |
| I use a panel and the omnilux. Love the results. It's subtle but I feel it evens the tone and just makes my skin more glowy? plump? I use the mask 4-5x a week for 10 min. The panel I use for more specific areas like on my shoulder for a minor injury. |
| There have been multiple threads on this already. |
I'm seeing the topic for this first time so I'm grateful for this new thread. |
| I have the Dr. Denis Gross led mask. It does marginally improve my skin texture when I consistently use it but it’s not enough of a difference that I would recommend if $500 is a lot of money to you. |
| Does it cause cancer over time? |
No. You can do the research yourself. |
Red light is anti-aging. It's blue light (I think) that helps with acne. |
Re: money, red-light devices are FSA-eligible. |
| Bumping this, any new experiences? Anyone doing it for hair loss and if so, with what device? |
| I saw a slight difference but nothing to justify the cost. |
Yes. For some reason I've had mild acne on my face the last year, and while I am seeing a dermatologist for tret, abx, etc. I wanted to try a light mask. You need a mix of red and blue for acne, and because acne is considered a medical condition my FSA paid for it. My derm did say it's more about maintenance though. You'll see the best results with tretinoin and an antibiotic but the mask will at least help maintain the results. |
