| Does anyone know if the current turnaround time of 4-6 months is accurate? We are headed to Europe in June and wanted to get it but it didn;t look like there was any kind of expedited service? |

| It really varies. I applied last August for myself and kids and we all got approved 2 days later. |

New application or renewal? New applications seem to be faster than renewals. I renewed last August. Still waiting for approval. |

It will be random. Within 2 weeks for conditional approval, or months and months. Each person could be one or the other. There isn't a way to really know. If all of you get it within 2 weeks, you then have to find available interview slots. There may be some available, but recently it's been hard. | My mom renewed in November. Nothing yet. She called last week to follow up again and they said it could be another 7 months. |

Same here. I did a renewal around that time and got it back the next day. |

If you don’t get it, use mobile passport app instead. I don’t about Dulles, but it uses the same line as GE At JFK. Breeze right through. |
