This is what happens when cowardly criminals accidently mess with the wrong one:

They scat like the spineless cockroaches they are when citizens are allowed to defend themselves. Seeing as how all of the local councils in the DMV have made it impossible for the police to do anything, there are zero punishments if caught, and criminals are learning that it pays to do crime, it is time citizens around here fought to exercise their 2a rights enshrined in the Constitution. Citizens should be allowed CCW with much more ease. DC has 6000 carjackings. People are being robbed at gunpoint now in Bethesda/Chevy Chase. Silver Spring is under assault. Law abiding citizens are fed up and should have the ability to defend themselves.

I'm a proponent of people being armed in areas with high crime for protection and deterrence, but I know that will never happen for most.

Although I personally own several firearms I don't carry... mostly because I live in Fairfax where risk of encounters is very low.

I live in DC and have no interest in owning a gun. But I hate that our gun laws mean that every carjacker absolutely knows I don’t have a gun and am a sitting duck.

But why do you get to be ruler of all you survey and deny other people the means to defend themselves? I’m sure you demand choice in other areas. Why not this one?
