| Ours does not require this. My DD will wear nice pants and a button down shirt. Wearing church clothes is all that is required. |

I have been to countless First Communions and never have I seen 'white suits' on the boys.
Khaki pants and collared shirt or button down oxford. Sometimes also a navy blazer and kid tie. Maybe certain ethnicities are about the 'all white' thing. It definitely would be way out of the norm in almost every Catholic church service I've been too, including weddings. |

| If you don't want him to visually stand out because the other parents may participate in this nonsense, get him white dress shirt and white pants. I'm with all the other Catholic moms who never saw such a thing. They can require a full white suit for a seven year old when they pay for it, or when they have a bunch saved up to borrow. |

30 years ago, my Catholic school required all white for boys too. I know it looks a bit ridiculous, but they are only that little for so long!
