| How do your boy/girl teens manage sharing a room if you can only get a room with one bed? |
| Why does their gender matter? Everyone wants privacy no matter their gender differences. My kids change in the bathroom but sleep in the same bed. Their siblings FTLOG! |
Um ok |
Do you really think this situation is difficult to manage? |
| My b/g kids share a bed no problem and they are older teens. Depends on the dynamic. If it didn’t work then I’d sleep with the girl and DH with the boy. We want to vacation and can’t afford two rooms. It works fine for us. |
| air mattress for one or they each sleep with a parent. |
|
one sleeps on the floor -- they alternate.
If we are traveling by car, we take a thin sleeping bag and camping mat. |
| This is a weird question, OP. Discuss with your kids. |
What do your kids do? |
Who said it was difficult to manage? |
| 95% of our family travel is by car so we bring an air mattress and sleeping bag. |
Clearly its difficult for OP who had to ask how to "manage" the situation. This isn't a boyfriend/girlfriend situation, its siblings! |
OP here just asking what typically people do. Not sure why you are offended by the question but I guess this is triggering for your for some reason. |
| We have never done that - we'll have them share a bedroom, but not a bed. |
| We sleep girl with mom, boy with dad. But it's hard for dad to sleep with anyone in smaller than a king, so we request a cot as much as possible. Then it's one kid in cot (they will actually fight over it to sleep alone) and the other with mom. |
