| Why does their gender matter? Everyone wants privacy no matter their gender differences. My kids change in the bathroom but sleep in the same bed. Their siblings FTLOG! |

| My b/g kids share a bed no problem and they are older teens. Depends on the dynamic. If it didn’t work then I’d sleep with the girl and DH with the boy. We want to vacation and can’t afford two rooms. It works fine for us. |

| 95% of our family travel is by car so we bring an air mattress and sleeping bag. |

| We have never done that - we'll have them share a bedroom, but not a bed. |

| We sleep girl with mom, boy with dad. But it's hard for dad to sleep with anyone in smaller than a king, so we request a cot as much as possible. Then it's one kid in cot (they will actually fight over it to sleep alone) and the other with mom. |
