Kane from Kaneshow divorcing and crying on air right now (Part 3)

Radio is probably the riskiest career out there.

It set is. Just ask all the established people that have been let go or people trying to get in. Thanks to syndication, voice tracking, and technology there are less and less jobs, especially for new people, besides promotions and maybe part time board oping. And also think, if Jack Diamond could lose his job after being in DC and with that station for so long anyone can. I mean they did bring him back but still. I think the only people that are truly safe is probably Elvis Duran and Ryan Secrest.

Now thatt iHeart is acknowledging her departure, I wonder when she will?

This is so nuts to me (but so interesting! )! WHY won't they address it on the air!? It seems so strange that Tommy Chuck keeps confirming it on social media but earlier today someone texted TKS, and they said they can't talk about it on air.

So shady

Safe to say I'm completely done with the show and I'm not even a Danni fan

They're doing the listeners so wrong

It could be anything from claiming she was denied promotions to saying she didn't get to exercise some of her FMLA benefits. I work in HR for a big company and employees sue companies all the time for all kinds of things, whether they're bound by some kind of contract or not. Being a black female and having been on an FMLA leave gives her that much more ground to stand on. Not saying this is definitely what happened, but it fits the bill with the way this is going down.

+1. I've been wanting to post this for awhile. I've been involved in something like this. Neither party will be able to talk about it. So many ways her attorneys could have spun anything to make it look like a slight against a black woman in a media organization with medical issues. The possibilities are endless. Also, a previous poster said what I also know to be true with an issue at a place that I worked, you have to act like you want to go back and work.

And, just because Sarah was able to talk after she cashed her severance check, that is not a normal practice. I was in a large downsizing at a company, and my severance package says essentially I can be sued and forced to pay the money back if I ever disparage my former company for ever.

Btw, two separate issues, two different companies. And mine wasn't discrimination, it was harassment, which hers could also be too.

If she's being allowed to remain with iheart, then she's not fired or didn't do anything wrong to violate her contract. Someone else wanted her gone & pushed her out. Otherwise they would be shouting from the rooftops what she did to get fired and would have done so 3 weeks ago.

I've been listening for about 5 minutes per day, and then they do something to annoy me and I switch-- this was becoming the case before the Danni disappearance, though. I'd literally rather listen to nothing on my 45 min drive to work than listen to their drivel... but you bet I'm going to keep reading this as it unfolds, I'm waaay too deep in at this point. I'm very deliberately not visiting any of their FB pages, though since they can see traffic analytics, and I don't want to encourage bad behavior
