He also said he wasn't aware of visitor posts being deleted. Uh huh, sure.

I hear the showgram has an opening...

I got the same reply. I wonder if they can't say anything because she's doing something else with iHeart? I don't know, sounds stupid but that's really the only thing I can think of.

So she could land on another radio station? Interesting.....

Someone had to run it by him to delete comments from a Facebook page.

I replied to him and asked why an announcement can't be made if she's staying with IHeartMedia? Brooke from Showgram just announced she's leaving that show for a diff opportunity..what's the difference between her situation and Danni's?

I also told him posts are def being deleted and that it doesn't sit well with listeners.

Long time reader, first time poster. Juding by their behavior, I'm 90% sure there is a team of attorneys in the background telling them they cannot comment. The scenario I have in mind is if Danni was suspended and/or is possibly suing iHeart, and she has to put on the front of wanting to return to the show so that it seems like she's making a good faith effort to be cooperative. That same situation in any workplace would indeed mean that the people on the ground (meaning Kane + crew) are in the dark and even Kane's first line of bosses may be in the dark. This also means that they can't even begin the process of replacing Danni until the legal team has settled on the fact that she's not returning.

If this is indeed the case, then it's funny how Kane didn't care about getting in trouble with his attorneys when it *merely* impacted his family, but if it impacts his show, he's keeping his mouth shut.

Lastly, I've seen debate about how 70% of the listeners are idiots who don't pay attention to this stuff (and I can't argue that point), but it was maybe 2 dozen comments on instagram about a missing wedding ring that caused the Kane meltdown to begin with... this situation has caused a MUCH bigger uproar than that did. Again, points to the fact that he really is quite possibly out of the loop on this and is being blocked from talking about it on the air.

What legal grounds could Danni be suing for? I think someone said in the part 2 thread that she signed a 3 year deal sometime last year. Depending on that language, she could be canned at any point, regardless of the contract dates.

Radio is probably the riskiest career out there.

Exactly...how could she be suing on discrimination other than because she's black?

My guess would be that, or that she's a woman and she somehow found a way that they discriminated against her for that (even though she takes probably the most time off out of anyone on that show and she was still around).

Anyone can file a lawsuit, and companies recognize they are costly to defend.

A black woman returning from medical leave = costly

And it would be just like Danni to resort to a lawsuit after getting fired for legitimate reasons.

It could be anything from claiming she was denied promotions to saying she didn't get to exercise some of her FMLA benefits. I work in HR for a big company and employees sue companies all the time for all kinds of things, whether they're bound by some kind of contract or not. Being a black female and having been on an FMLA leave gives her that much more ground to stand on. Not saying this is definitely what happened, but it fits the bill with the way this is going down.

Is there any proof that a lawsuit has been filed or is it just speculation?

I was thinking that too (that anyone can sue). I mean, does anyone remember the story of the burglar suing the homeowners of the place he was burglarizing because he got injured doing so?

Pure speculation.. was just thinking about the scenario from the employer perspective. It could also just be her filing some kind of internal complaint/appeal. Regardless, i DO think Kane and probably Tommy are both being gagged by their own legal department.
