I checked that. He initially said the same thing just without the "Tommy" part

Funny that he edited it, but didn't correct the error...

People... I like debating as much as the next person but the most likely outcome is that we will never hear an explanation of what happened. I'm sure we've hit the nail on the head and someone is right about what happened... Maybe Danni just wasn't up to par and was let go, so she sued. That seems to be the most logical explanation. All their hands are tied (beyond Danni's social media diarrhea of the mouth) to speak on it and that's it. If you don't like the show without Danni on it, stop listening. EITM is better, anyway.

Or you could keep furiously speculating for an answer you'll never get. That works too...

After 3 years & after signing another 3 year contract she's all of a sudden not up to par? Yeah, ok.

Agreed. "Not up to par" is pretty lame and doesn't make sense.

Anonymous wrote:What legal grounds could Danni be suing for? I think someone said in the part 2 thread that she signed a 3 year deal sometime last year. Depending on that language, she could be canned at any point, regardless of the contract dates.

Radio is probably the riskiest career out there.

Exactly...how could she be suing on discrimination other than because she's black?

My guess would be that, or that she's a woman and she somehow found a way that they discriminated against her for that (even though she takes probably the most time off out of anyone on that show and she was still around).

Maybe a FMLA violation?

Gosh, why are people on this FMLA and discrimination train?! Is there a SHRED of evidence that points to this? I'm sorry, but that's reaching a little too far, even for this forum.

What exactly would be your guess? People are saying that because no one seems to be able to talk about it, which begs the assumption that it's a legal matter, and the only legal matter we can guess would be along those lines. She just signed a 3 year contract, and any time anyone else has left there has been a discussion. Not true in this case. If someone had just pushed her out and that was it, the only person who wouldn't be talking would be Danni because it would have been built into her severance. Kane would have already come up with an elaborate story about why she left.

Oh, good grief. How is it "reaching too far?" People are just throwing out the possible reasons Danni might have litigation with iHeart. FMLA is as good a reason as any.

Well now since Danni is off the show thanks to a combination of the people here and her own doing. Who's next on the list?

Rose?

LOL! Yes, DCUM is just that powerful to affect who's on a show syndicated in several markets around the country.

Well multiple people from multiple markets posted here so it's not a far stretch to say that.

So since the people of this board are so powerful. Why don't they call for Sarah to try her hand again at running her own show? Force Kane and everyone out and install her own team? DCUM what do you think?

I honestly think Sarah is good with doing her own thing and being able to talk about whatever she wants, however she wants to talk about it. She doesn't have to worry about a program director or station head trying to control what she says or does. I don't know, that's just my two cents.

It is a stretch considering that the real impact is with the advertisers, not with how popular Danni is here on DCUM. Did DCUM members suddenly make an impact with the advertisers in all the various markets?
