The Duggars, including Josh, have termed it a "mistake." Not child molestation, not assault - a "mistake." Which to me says, "no big deal" (compared to e.g. child molestation or sexual assault, which they have taken care not to use when talking about it).

They try to impose their religious beliefs on other people through their political activism, not their show.
There is no Christian sect that follows every "law" in the Bible; how is pp being incoherent? We studied biblical contradictions in Religion 101 in college. Its not a sophisticated concept.

PP -- the Duggars are heartbroken this happened and they dealt with it in a dignified and responsible manner. the way they handled it allowed their family to survive. Josh has not re-offended. The sisters seem okay. Josh also survived and has a family of his own. What -- he should be thrown in jail for life? Killed? What?

Let's see, the PP was stating it was liberals who was forcing their views down everyone's throats... But as I pointed out, liberals aren't making anyone become "gay".
The Duggars, on the other hand, have actively participated and fundraiser to stop any LGBT laws, and equated transgender people to child molesters. That is the issue. They are "forcing" their religion down my throat when they want to deny equal treatment to people due to their sexual orientation.

Christian evangelicals and fundamentalists minimize child molestation. They blame the victims. They emotionally abuse victims by demanding that they forgive their abuser. In every sense, the Duggars have revictimized these girls.
