2024 Boys Private School Results /Game Schedules/ Commentary

Anyone that knows DMV lax and knows the 2024 class, should know that this season is all about the IAC. It’s a two team race in the IAC between Prep and Landon and these two teams will be by far the top two teams in the dmv for the 2024 season without question. Gonzaga and STJ will be at the top in the WCAC and these four teams will battle for bragging rites in the dmv and potentially nationally too. I hope they go back to playing an end of the season dmc championship for at least the top 4 teams.

At this point we are drawing straws.

Likely the top 4 teams in the area this spring in pre-season polls will be (in no order) Prep, Landon, GZ, and SJZ. Bullis and EHS will make things interesting in the IAC. GZ and SJC will face little competition in the WCAC this Spring.

Championships are won in May, will be interesting to see which team can handle adversity as the season carries on.

Gonzaga scored a total of 7 goals in two games v. PVI including 2 in the playoff game. PVI still returns a MI commit on D and has a few D1 caliber players committed to CNU along with a PSU commit at LSM they have some strong sophomores and a solid coaching staff who really knows these players for a first year coach. Do not rule out the Panthers or take them lightly this spring.
