I broke down and watched that clip based on the donut commentary. But even stranger to me was his attempt at small talk with the employees:

“How long have you worked here?” [answer] “Okay, good.”

Turns to next person: “How long have you worked here?” [answer] “Okay, good.”

I am socially awkward and have made some dumb responses in my time, so I’m not a harsh critic of conversation skills if people seem to mean well. But this is some of the most uninterested, checking-the-boxes-of-conversation interaction I’ve ever seen. Again, on a video that’s supposed to help him!
