i read this on another forum.
I know things are crazy this admissions season, country-wide. How are things at TJ? |
It was April Fool joke. Calm down. |
I hear more than usual acceptances to top 20 this year. The lawsuit against Harvard caused some ivies to increase Asian acceptances for the past several years hoping to persuade the outcome of the case. |
From TJ? I think I got totally different information. |
12 acceptances to Chicago. |
Almost all from ED |
29 acceptances to Michigan! |
This is funny |
12 for Harvard. Congrats. |
How do you know? |
Wouldn't be surprising since Harvard admitted almost 30% Asians this year (from typical 17-19%) to indicate that they are not discriminating. So, about 40% increase from the usual 7 to 8 or so would mean around 11-12. |
So far, 19 for Cornell. |
There is usually a FB group for admitted students and a zoom session. I’m guessing if that number is accurate then it’s from there. At this point TJ itself doesn’t know. From memory on years past, is usually anywhere from 8-12 students admitted. From that, a few will go to other schools. |
17 for MIT. |
I heard it was 16. |
