Are TJ college admissions a mess this year?

I know things are crazy this admissions season, country-wide.
How are things at TJ?

I hear more than usual acceptances to top 20 this year. The lawsuit against Harvard caused some ivies to increase Asian acceptances for the past several years hoping to persuade the outcome of the case.

Wouldn't be surprising since Harvard admitted almost 30% Asians this year (from typical 17-19%) to indicate that they are not discriminating. So, about 40% increase from the usual 7 to 8 or so would mean around 11-12.

There is usually a FB group for admitted students and a zoom session. I’m guessing if that number is accurate then it’s from there. At this point TJ itself doesn’t know. From memory on years past, is usually anywhere from 8-12 students admitted. From that, a few will go to other schools.
