If you are Catholic--St Jerome Academy in Hyattsville seems like a great school. We tried to get in for MS but they are at capacity (and we are non-Catholic to be fair, I get that Catholic applicants should have priority).
We're fine where we are, but I was really impressed with the school. We were told that for high school, most kids go to DeMatha (boys) and Seton (girls).

We know families at SJS, DeMatha, and Seton and all are very happy.

Take a look at Woods Academy. It's a K-8. Just did some renovations.

. It’s St. Stephens St. Agnes which ranges from 40-49k. Maybe they have good financial aid though?

If you have a son, The Abby is a great school. i think it starts in 6th? strong academics. definitely a bargain for DC
