Coca Cola has gotten so expensive

I cannot believe how expensive Coke has gotten. We live our caffeine and soda but this is breaking us!

Yep. It’s helping me quit my Diet Coke addiction, at least!

I buy them in 2 for 1 sales at a Wegmans or something like that. Have they really gotten expensive? I drink two cans of diet a day and by my calculations it's less than a dollar a can.

12 pack now routinely costs $9.

Coca-Cola had 2 billion in profit last year. That’s down 15% from a year earlier but it’s still $2 billion in profit. It’s not inflation — it’s price gouging.

I feel dumb paying for seltzer but I love the bubbles.

12 packs DO NOT cost $9. You can get them at 7-11 for less than that. What a weird thing to troll about

Pre covid they were a quarter a can. It’s a huge increase.

They are $10 at the grocery store.

Diet Coke is running 7.99 to 9.99 most stores. Aldi was still at 6.99 a month ago but it's up there too now. Buying the store brand and drinking less.

Whenever something that I know is bad for me starts to increase into much in cost, I try to use that as an incentive to break or cut the habit.

But there’s always a sale of some kind. Buy 2 get 1 etc

Get a Soda Stream. I got one for my husband on Black Friday as his Christmas present, and he loves it—the whole family loves it, actually.

100% this! Of all the things to bemoan.

Plus, I’ve found when you only have soda a few times a year, it tastes amazing.

I quit buying it. I miss my Diet Coke, but not enough to pay $7.99 for a 12 pack.
