Ranking is pointless if you don't give what major/area of study |
|
If the criteria that matter to you are those that USNWR uses, then use their ranking. If it's what Niche uses, then go to them. If it's what Less High School Stress uses, go there. Etc...
If it's none of them, then TELL US what matters to you or you'll get a bunch of responses that are useless to you. |
Absolutely agree And NYU best of the bunch you listed, IMO |

NYU Tufts, BC, BU Villanova, Vassar GW, Syracuse Fordham Temple |
| They're all good schools. "Rankings" will turn on areas of academic interest and size and location preferences. |
The first person who responded above nailed the list. |

NYU - In NYC's East Village. Play a chess hustler and buy drugs in Washington Square Park between classes!
BU - Private school in Boston. Syracuse - Practically in Canada. GW - Expensive and in D.C. D.C. schools attract many government/politics majors. Fordham - Jesuit school in The Bronx. Villanova - Private Catholic school outside Philly, Vassar - Former all-girls Seven Sisters college. Temple - Public school in Philly. Tufts - Private school outside Boston. BC - Jesuit school in Boston. It looks like you are Catholic, financially comfortable, and want to be near Boston, NYC, or D.C., without good weather. Why not Georgetown (Jesuit)? Why not Cornell (upstate New York)? Why not Barnard (Seven Sister in NYC)? Why not smaller schools? Why not Maryland or U. VA.? |
