Why Chick-fil-A is successful

Pretty succinct explanation:

For those who don't want to spend 10 minutes:

good founder, good sandwich, slow expansion and little debt, friendly employees/service, franchisee selection

I was thinking about it yesterday. CFA parking lot was full. Popeye near by was almost empty and only few years ago there were people in lines literally for hours to try Popeye spicy sandwich!!!!

They make more per store than fast food with more outlets like Subway or McDonald’s.

Chick-Fil-A doesn't hurt my stomach like Popeyes. Popeyes acts like you have requested their first born child if you dare ask for sauce.

The Southwest Salad is damn right delicious and fresh. Consistently. All of them are friendly and accommodating to any requests.

They make more money because they specialize and have few selections. The only entres are chicken and salad. And in some markets they don't have some menu items. My DH goto is a chicken wrap and one closest to where we live now, they don't have it.

they make more per store than Starbucks and McDonalds, even closed on Sundays

Also, EFFICIENT. They’re sooo good at moving the line through. I’m in CA and wait for 30 minutes for In & Out. Chick Fil A would have had me through on a busy day in 6-7 minutes

Their food is not good. Popeye’s is so much tastier and places like Roaming Rooster are even better.

CFA doesn't need gimmicks - like the Popeyes sandwich - which isn't sustainable

Nope never ever

My choice until 2024

I think their food is great considering it’s fast-food.

CF hires better employees. They would rather hire a high school student for 8 hours than someone who needs to work 40 hours a week. It was great environment for our upper-class kid for the 4 months he spent there. he worked after school and had most of Sat and all day sundays off. The McDonalds next door had cranky employees.

They offer need-based scholarships to their HS employees who go to college.

Yep. Their customer service is consistently excellent and fast. I don't know how they screen and train employees but they are great at it.
They should have been put in charge of Covid vaccine delivery.

It's the way they handle the CHicken. It's breaded by hand and flash frozen and defrosted in the fridge overnight. And cooked in Peanut oil. So if you don't like that....
