I know that people on this board are as a rule rude and care less about being effective than being right, but I don't think saying "MYOB" is all that helpful and is actually a little jarring when that's all the comment says.

But its fine. It's annoying to me but not the worst thing I've seen on DCUM.

I hear you. But sometimes I’m really busy and the poster has so clearly crossed a line that MYOB seems enough.

I think MYOB is often great advice. I've been given that advice on DCUM and after some consideration thought, you know, they are right-- this isn't my monkey, isn't my circus.

The Democratic Party holds everyone from actual liberals to so-called "moderates" whose views are pretty typical of 1970s Republicans. It's a much wider spectrum than the Republicans offer.

NP. I send family cards with pre-printed addresses, but I at least write one line and sign. I genuinely do not understand people who don't write so much as "Merry Christmas! -Lucy" To me, if you can't be bothered to write anything personal at all, not even your name, save some trees and just post your family photo(s) on FB and take five seconds to write "Wishing all our family and friends a happy and healthy holiday season, Love The Carpenters."
