Yes- I think they have deep insecurity about getting a picture of themselves and family and they are jealous of the organized people who do these every year. 
Most normal people just look at the picture, maybe display for a bit, then throw it out... and don't mention it to anyone. But this person cannot wait to brag about how much she hates these cards![/quote]

NP. I send family cards with pre-printed addresses, but I at least write one line and sign. I genuinely do not understand people who don't write so much as "Merry Christmas! -Lucy" To me, if you can't be bothered to write anything personal at all, not even your name, save some trees and just post your family photo(s) on FB and take five seconds to write "Wishing all our family and friends a happy and healthy holiday season, Love The Carpenters."[/quote]
